Committees

Security Council 

The Security Council is dedicated to maintaining peace and cooperation between countries. It is comprised of fifteen member states, five of which are permanent members who hold veto power in the assembly. They handle issues related to territory disputes and armed conflicts, along with other pressing problems. The Security Council holds the power to sanction sovereign member states and implement UN peacekeepers. Overall, the Security council solves a wide array of issues and has the power in assembly to uphold the balance.

Growth and Environment Committee

Our mission is to provide leadership and encourage partnership in caring for the environment and sustainable development by inspiring, informing, and enabling nations and peoples to improve their quality of life without compromising that of future generations. 

Human Rights Committee

The Human Rights Council is an inter-governmental body within the United Nations system responsible for strengthening the promotion and protection of human rights around the globe and for addressing situations of human rights violations and make recommendations on them. It has the ability to discuss all thematic human rights issues and situations that require its attention throughout the year. 

Conflict and Peacekeeping Committee

This committee deals with disarmament, global challenges, and threats to peace that affect the international community and seeks out solutions to the challenges in the international security regime.
